Thomas Christensen was born in San Antonio, Texas, February 10, 1956. He was married August 17, 1978 to Kathryn Stewart. He has seven children: Tom, Anna, Stewart, Richard, Andrew, Scott and Alexander. Tom has volunteered in many local programs including: Boy Scouts, New Vista Ranch, Mentor Program with Nevada Trial Lawyers, Safe Haven, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Southern Nevada, Little League Sports. He attended Brigham Young University where he obtained his B.S. in Mathematics in 1979; He then went on to J. Reuben Clark School of Law at Brigham Young University where he achieved his J.D. in 1981. He was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 1981. Tom is admitted to practice in U.S. Supreme Court; U.S. District Court, District of Nevada and U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit. Tom has obtained a Martindale-Hubbell "A-V Rating".
